Terms & Conditions
Effective and last updated: 23 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern use of the BazarHut Android app, website and grocery-ordering services operated by BazarHut. By creating an account, selecting “I agree”, placing an order or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the linked policies.
1. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a purchase or act with a parent or lawful guardian. You must provide accurate name, mobile, address and order information, keep your password and device secure, and promptly update incorrect information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you notify us of suspected unauthorised access.
2. Service area and availability
Service is available only for PIN codes currently marked serviceable at checkout. Products, stock, quantity limits, prices, delivery slots, fees, promotions and service areas may change. Placing an order is an offer to buy; an order is accepted only when BazarHut confirms it. We may reject or cancel an order because of unavailable stock, an incorrect price, an unserviceable or unsafe address, suspected fraud, payment failure, capacity limits or operational circumstances.
3. Products, weights and prices
Fresh products naturally vary in colour, shape and size. Product photographs are illustrative. The product name, unit, selected quantity, price, delivery fee and final total shown in the server-generated checkout quote govern the order. Prices include applicable taxes where required unless checkout states otherwise. We will not substitute an ordered product with a materially different product without your consent.
4. Orders and payment
You may pay by an available online method through Razorpay or by COD when enabled. An online order is not treated as paid merely because money appears debited; BazarHut must receive valid payment confirmation. Pending or failed transactions may require bank/payment-provider reconciliation. COD orders may require confirmation by phone or WhatsApp before preparation. See the Payment Policy for details.
5. Delivery
Select an available delivery date and window and ensure that the recipient, address and phone number are accurate and reachable. A delivery window is a good-faith estimate, not a guarantee of an exact minute. Weather, traffic, supply, safety, address access and other events may cause delay. If the first attempt is missed, we will try to contact you and, where reasonably possible, arrange another attempt in the next available scheduled delivery window. The Delivery Policy forms part of these Terms.
6. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Cancellation depends on the order stage. Fresh and perishable goods successfully delivered and accepted are not routinely returnable or refundable for change of mind. If a successful prepaid order is not delivered because BazarHut cannot fulfil it, the eligible amount will be refunded to the original payment method. See the Cancellation Policy and Refund & Replacement Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, place fraudulent orders, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the app or servers, scrape or copy protected content at scale, submit unlawful or abusive content, impersonate another person, or use payment instruments without authority. We may restrict or close an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or legal compliance.
8. Intellectual property
The BazarHut name, app, website, designs, text, graphics, software and original content are owned by or licensed to BazarHut. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal grocery purchases.
9. Service limitations
We use reasonable care in operating the service, but availability may be interrupted for maintenance, network failure or events beyond reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, BazarHut is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern. Subject to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules, disputes will be subject to the competent courts serving Nadia, West Bengal. Your rights under applicable consumer-protection law remain unaffected.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms prospectively. The current version and date will appear here. Questions may be sent to anjalibiswas0008@gmail.com or 8967958739.
